Ingredients

  • 2 Cups SUGAR
  • 2 EGGS
  • 2 Cups FLOUR
  • 1 Teaspoons SODA
  • 1/4 Teaspoon SALT
  • 1 #303 Can FRUIT COCKTAIL (2 Cups or 16-17 Ounces)
  • Icing
  • 1 1/2 Cup SUGAR
  • 1 Stick BUTTER
  • 3/4 Cup CONDENSED MILK

Preparation

Step 1

CAKE

Cream SUGAR and EGGS.
Mix FLOUR, SODA and SALT and add slowly to EGGS, SUGAR and FRUIT COCKTAIL.
Mix good, but not too long.
Cook in iron skillet or cake pan.

ICING

Boil to soft ball stage when dropped in cold water bath and put onto hot cake.
