Ingredients
- 1/3 cup minced onion
- 2 clove garlic, crushed
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2/3 cup sauterne or apple juice or dry white wine
- 1 can (7 1/2 oz) crabmeat, drained
- 1 cup cleaned cooked shrimp
- 6 Tbsp shredded Swiss cheese or Parmesan cheese

Preparation
Step 1
Cook and stir onion and garlic in butter until onion is tender. Remove from heat. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring until mixture is bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk and wine. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in crabmeat and shrimp. Divide mixture among 6 baking shells or individual baking dishes; top each with 1 Tbsp Swiss cheese. Set oven control at broil and or 550. Broil 5 to 5 inches from heat 3 to4 minutes or until cheese is golden.
