Ingredients
- 10 cups peeled potatoes (about 12)
- 1/4 cup grainy mustard
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 tsp each, salt and pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Pot of boiling salted water, cover and cook potatoes until fork-tender, about 20 min. Drain reserving 1/4 cup of cdooking water. Mash potatoes until smooth. Add mustard, milk, butter salt, pepper and a little of reserved cooking water for softer potatoes, if desired.
