Ingredients
- 6 Large tomatoes
- 1 1/2 C chopped onion
- 1 1/2 tsp white sugar
- salt to taste
- ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 C and 2 Tblsp margarine
- 1/4 C and 2 Tblsp all purpose flour
- 2 C milk
Preparation
Step 1
1. Boil tomatoes until skin is easily peeled off, run under cool water and peel skin. Chop tomatoes.
2. Simmer tomatoes, onions, sugar, and salt and pepper. Stir in the flour. Whisk in the mild, and cook until thickened.
