Ingredients

  • 1 - Beef brisket, about 3 pounds
  • 1-Tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1-tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 - Large onion chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 - can(14 1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 - can(14 1/2 oz) reduced-sodium beef broth
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 8 -Hamburger buns

Preparation

Step 1

1- Coat slow cooker-bowl with non stick cooking spray.

2- Season brisket with paprika, salt and pepper. Place in slow cooker. Scatter onion and garlic over brisket. Combine tomatoes, broth, vinegar and sugar. Pour over brisket.

3- Cover and cook on high for 6 hours or low for 9 hourss.

4- Remove meat from slow cooker and cool slightly. Slice or shred and stir into sauce.

5- Remove brisket with a slotted spoon and serve on rolls with pickles and coleslaw, if desired.
