Ingredients
- 2 lbs. ground beef
- 8 slices of bacon
- 8 Tbl. chopped pecans
- 4 Tbl. chopped parsley
- 4 Tbl. grated onion
- 6 Tbl. softened butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 Tbl. garlic powder

Step 1
Preheat broiler or grill. Season the ground beef with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Using your hands mix it together. Form 16 thin patties.
In a skillet partially saute bacon; fat should start rendering but don't let it get crispy. Mix pecans, parsley, onion, butter and cream cheese together. Spread that mixture over 8 patties. Top with the remaining patties and pinch the edges together just a little. Wrap the edges with the bacon and secure it with a toothpick. Broil or grill until desired doneness, turning only once, about 5-6 minutes per side. When done, remove the toothpick and serve on a bun as a burger or as a hamburger steak.
