Ingredients
- 1/2 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 egg whites, lightly beaten
- 1/3 cup canola oil
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Spray a 13-by-9-inch nonstick baking pan with cooking oil spray. Combine boiling water and cocoa in a large bowl. Mix until completely dissolved. Add flour, eggs, sugars, baking powder, salt, oil and vanilla; mix well. Mix in chopped walnuts.
Pour mixture into prepared pan; bake 25 minutes or until brownies are done. Cool in pan on wire rack; cut into squares.
