Turkey Burgers with Sundried-Tomatoes and Blue Cheese

The recipe on the website calls for beef, but it is just as wonderful made with turkey.
*The 150 minute cook time includes preparation and cooking, AND letting the burgers rest in the refrigerator for 2 hours before cooking.*

- 1 pound uncooked lean ground turkey
- 1/3 cup diced sun-dried tomatoes
- 1-1/2 ounces blue cheese
- 2 tablespoons and 2 teaspoons minced fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon steak sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Step 1
yield of 12 burgers.1.In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, sun-dried tomatoes, blue cheese, chives, steak sauce, hot pepper sauce, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, salt, and mustard. *Cover and refrigerate for two hours.*
2.Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat. Gently form mixture into twelve equally-sized patties.
3.Grill burgers for five minutes per side, or to desired doneness.
