Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2-1/2 lb. (1.1 kg) Yukon gold potatoes (about 6), peeled, coarsely shredded
- 1-1/2 cups Kraft Double Cheddar Shredded Cheese
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 small onion, grated
- 2 tsp. onion salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
Step 1
HEAT oven to 400ºF.
BRUSH oil onto bottom and up sides of 13x9-inch baking dish. Combine all remaining ingredients except egg. Add egg; mix lightly. Press onto bottom of baking dish.
BAKE 55 min. to 1 hour or until golden brown.
LET stand 10 min. before cutting to serve.

Make Ahead:
Potato mixture can be baked ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 24 hours. When ready to serve, bake, uncovered, in 350ºF oven 15 to 20 min. or until heated through.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve topped with sour cream or applesauce.
Substitute:
If you don't have Yukon gold potatoes, you can prepare recipe with baking potatoes instead. For best results, do not use waxy potatoes, such as red potatoes.
