Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 c milk
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 4 eggs
- 2 c sugar
- 2 c flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 3 c sugar
- 2 tbs light corn syrup
- 7 oz milk
- 4 tbs butter

Step 1
Cake: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Melt butter in milk, do not boil. Beat eggs and combine with sugar; mix well. In a bowl, add flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the sugar and eggs. Add milk mixture and vanilla and stir. Place in to 9 inch greased and floured round cake pans. Bake in oven for 20 -25 mins until done.
Icing: Cook all ingredients stirring constantly, and bring to a rolling boil. Then boil for 2 min without stirring. Remove from heat and cool. Stir until the icing loses its gloss and starts to thicken. Ice the cake once cake has cooled.
