Ingredients

  • 4 squares Baker's Unsweetened Baking chocolate
  • 3/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Preparation

Step 1

1. Line 9 x 13 inch baking pan with foil extending over edges to form handles. Grease foil.

2. Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on High 2 minurtes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Add sugar; stir until well blended. Add eggs and vanlla; mix well. Stir in flour and pecans until well blended. Spread into prepared pan.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Do not overbake. Cool in pan. Lift out of pan onto cutting board. Cut into squares. Makes 24 brownies.

Rocky Road Brownies: Prepare batter as directed; spread into pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks or Chips. Bake as dfirected. Immediately sprinkle wtih a few handfuls miniature marshmallows, chopped pecans, and Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks or Chips.
