- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 6 ounces commercial guava paste
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 jalapeño pepper, minced

Step 1
Combine ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil.
Cook 4 minutes or until guava paste dissolves, stirring constantly.
Reduce heat, and simmer 4 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat.
