Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 large bell pepper, diced
- 1 (29 oz.) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (10 oz.) can tomato soup (or tomato sauce)
- 1 (14 0z.) can chicken (or beef) broth
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Shredded cheese, for topping

Step 1
In a large pot, brown ground beef with onion and pepper on medium-high heat. Drain. Add diced tomatoes, broth, and tomato soup (or sauce).
Stir. Add rice; stir again. Add sugar and seasonings. Cover and simmer on low-medium for 30 minutes. Serve with shredded cheese.
