Ingredients

  • 1 boneless beef roast
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 garlic clove, sliced
  • Salt or Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans No Salt Added tomato sauce
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix

Preparation

Step 1

Put roast in slow cooker. Sprinkle both sides with salt/Tony's, pepper, & garlic powder. Put slits on one side of roast & insert garlic slices. Put onion slices on & around roast. In a small bowl, combine tomato sauce & dressing mix. Pour over roast & onions. Cook on high for 1 hour, then low for 7 hours OR cook on high for 5 hours or until tender.
