Peanut Butter Candy

Ingredients

• 5 cups puffed rice
• 32 large marshmallows
• 1/3 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup butter
• More butter to grease bowl, hands and pan

Preparation

Step 1

Grease a bowl all over with butter.

Put in puffed rice.

Fill the bottom of a double boiler 1/3 full. Now put top on boiler and place on medium heat.

In top of double boiler, put in marshmallows and peanut butter. Add 1/4 cup butter. Let melt, keep stirring till smooth. Now pour over cereal until all kernels are coated. Grease a 9-by-13-inch pan all over with butter. Grease your hands. Pack candy in pan. Cool, then cut.
