Ingredients

  • 1 lb uncooked elbow pasta
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 3 Tbsp flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (12oz) can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups (8oz) shredded smoked Gouda cheese
  • 1 (3oz) package cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground red pepper
  • 1 (8oz) package chopped cooked ham
  • 2 cups corn flakes, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare pasta. Melt 2 Tbsp butter and whick in flour until smooth. Gradually whisk in mils and evaporated milk, stirring constantly 3-5 minutes or until thickened. Add Gouda, cream cheese, salt and 1/4 tsp ground red pepper until smooth. Remove from heat and add ham.
Combine cheese and pasta and pour into a lightly greased 13x9 pan. Stir together cereal, butter, and red pepper. Sprinke over pasta.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
