Ingredients
- 2 large shallots peeled and chopped
- 1 (2inch) fresh ginger peeled and chopped
- 4 cloves garlic smashed
- 3/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup peanut oil
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 2 pounds shrimp

Step 1
Place shallots, ginger, garlic, soy sauce, lime juice and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth. Add green onions and oil and blend until comibined. Season with ground pepper to taste. Place shrimp in a large bowl and marinade for at least 20 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat grill and grill shrimp 2 minutes per side.
