Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F. Attach the dough blade and 40-oz. bowl to the Ninja base and secure the suction feet to your work surface.
Crack the egg into the bowl and pulse three times, then add the buttermilk and melted butter. Pulse twice to combine. Add the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda, and raisins to the bowl. Secure the bowl lid tightly, then blend the ingredients (using the "Dough 1" setting) until well incorporated.
Remove the dough from the bowl and form it into a 6-inch round ball. Place it on a lightly greased baking sheet or in a cake pan. Using a paring knife, score the top of the dough about an inch-deep in an “X” shape.
Bake the bread at 325°F until it's golden brown and a thin skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean, approximately 45 – 55 minutes.
