Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

These are my kids’ favorite chocolate chip cookies. They don’t stick around too long!

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 (4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven 350 degrees.
2. Combine flour and baking soda.
3. In a large bowl beat brown sugar, sugar, butter, shortening, pudding mix, vanilla, and almond extract.
4. Mix until well blended. Add eggs and mix well.
6. Beat in the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
7. Drop by rounded teasponful and bake 10-12 minutes.
