Ingredients

  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (or garlic powder)
  • 3 - 8 oz. cans tomato sauce
  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 4 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. light sour cream
  • 2.5 oz can sliced olives, drained
  • 3/4 c. green onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg 80z wide noodles
  • 1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1.In a large skillet combine beef, garlic, salt, pepper, sugar, tomato sauce & tomato paste. Bring to a boil, stirring to break up meat. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.

2.In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, olives and green onions.

3.cook noodles according to directions.

4. spoon some sauce in bottom of greased casserole. spread noodles on top. cover with sauce and top with cream cheese mixture. top with shredded cheddar cheese. bake 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes or till bubbly.
