Ingredients
- 1 lb. low fat hamburger meat
- 1 chopped onion
- 1/2 chopped bell pepper
- 1 or 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1 can black beans
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 corn, frozen or canned
- 1 1/2 cup water, as needed
- 1 or 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cumin

Step 1
Brown hamburger meat in a nonstick skillet.
Drain hamburger meat and set aside
Saute onions and pepper for a few minutes
Add meat back to skillet, along with both cans of rinsed beans, drained corn, and tomatoes. Add water as needed.
Add salt and spices to skillet. Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 40 minutes or so.
Serve with taco shells, shredded cheese, sour cream, and diced tomatoes and lettuce..
Feel free to add your favorite hot sauce, salsa, or guacamole, if desired.
