• 1/2 cup chopped pecans
• 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1 pkg Duncan Hines® Moist Deluxe® Banana Supreme Cake Mix
• 1 (3.4 oz) pkg vanilla instant pudding and pie filling
• 4 large eggs
• 1 cup ripe mashed bananas
• 1/3 cup vegetable oil
• 1/4 cup water
• confectioner's sugar

Absolutely GREAT!!! My husband loved it so much that he suggested I enter it in the county fair! Took some to my Mother and father-in-law and they loved it also. Very moist and has a great banana flavor. Thank God that I already had a box of the cake mix on hand but wanted to make another one for a family reunion; couldn't find cake mix in the store.

Roughly how many bananas makes 1 cup? Does 3 or 4 sound about right?

It would be about 2 good sized bananas.

I am looking for a recipe for strawberry loaf or muffins.

I have a receipe for great strawberry bread somewhere around here (I just moved), I will look for it and post back when I find it.

can't find banana supreme mix, have they stopped making it?

I know in my area it's hard to find too. WalMart does not carry nor does Kroger. I checked a family owned store and they have it. You might look for something like that.

I have trouble finding this also. I live in east Texas and I find it at Brookshires. I have threatened to picket if they stop carrying it. It's my grandsons favorite.

I have found it at Homeland stores. It is not as popular as some of the others so I think some stores just don't carry it. Hope this helps.

BTW, you might also try working with a white cake mix and using banana cream pudding mix instead of vanilla. You could also put a tsp. of banana extract in it to give the banana flavors if you can't find the mix. Just an idea.

I tried this recipe and loved it very much and so did my family.
I will make this again I am sure of that.
