  • 7.1 ounces Flour
  • 2.8 ounces Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 Egg Yolk (save egg white for filling)
  • 10.5 tablespoons Butter
  • Filling
  • 14 - 16 ounces Whipping Cream
  • 10.6 ounces Baker's Chocolate
  • 1 large pinch Cinnamon
  • 5 ounces Sugar + 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 3.5 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 Egg White

Step 1

Blend all crust ingredients together in a mixing bowl until dough is tough enough to withstand handling. Place dough into a greased cake pan and spread until the bottom and edges are covered.

Put the whipping cream into a large saucepan and place on a burner set to medium heat. Break the chocolate into smaller pieces and add to the whipping cream and stir continuously. Add in remaining ingredients and continue to stir until the liquid just begins to boil. Pour filling into the crust and place into an oven preheated to 320 degrees F. Bake 40-50 minutes.
