Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups pumpkin
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp allspice or pumpkin pie spice
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2/3 cups water
- 1 cup chopped nuts

Step 1
Cream sugar eggs & oil, add pumpkin, mix.
Add dry ingredients alternately with water & nuts. Pour 2/3 way in greased & floured loaf pans, bake 1 hour & 15 minutes.
Makes 3 1lb cakes
