Ingredients
- sauce:
- 2 packages boneless breasts
- 4 slices ham
- thinly sliced mozarrella
- egg beaten
- breadcrumbs and flour mixture (3 to 1 proportion)
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 garlic cloves minced
- 1 lb sliced mushrooms
- fresh pepper, 1 T basil, salt
- 4 T melted butter, 4 T flour, 2 cups milk

Preparation
Step 1
1. pound the breasts at an angle to flatten and lay two strips of ham in them. then roll and put toothpick to hold together.
2. dip in beaten egg and breadcrumbs and flour mixture. brown chicken in skillet with 4 T butter and put in greased casserole dish.
3. in same skillet saute the onions, garlic, mushrooms, and basil, salt and pepper. then remove.
4. make the sauce with the melted butter. add the flour and whisk in the 2 cups milk slowly stirring often. dump the veggies back in the sauce and then top over the chicken.
5. cook for one hour covered in a 350 degree oven, then uncovered for 15 more minutes.
