Ingredients
- 3/4 liter of Pure grain alcohol
- 12 lemons, very fresh and a little green
- 1-1/2 liter of water
- 1 cup sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In cold running water wash the lemons well.
Dry and peel them very thin, being careful not to peel
the white of the lemon.
In a glass container that will hold a minimum of 2 liters,
pour in the alcohol and add the lemon peels.
Close the container and keep it in a cool dry place for 15
days.
After 15 days add the following mixture:
boil the water and the sugar in a pot for 10 minutes,
then remove and let cool.
Once cooled add the sugar, water mixture to the container
together with the lemon peels and alcohol that has marinated.
Close the container and let it sit for another 3-4 days.
When ready remove the lemon peels and pour the liquid
in glass bottles.
lt is now ready to drink.
I prefer to keep the Limoncello in a freezer and to drink
it ice cold.
lt is a nice digestive and ends the dinner with a beautiful
taste.
