Easy Toffee Pretzel Bark

Ingredients
- 8 ounces mini pretzels (enough to spread out onto a large baking sheet)
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- sea salt (optional-but the pretzels should have enough salt)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Line a large cookie sheet with tin foil. Spread pretzels over foil, you may break them into chunks or leave them whole if you like.
Combine butter and brown sugar into medium sized saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally to make sure everything is blended nicely.
After reaching a full rolling boil, stop stirring and cook for 3 minutes. Immediately pour hot candy over the top of pretzels. If you have a few gaps, that is okay...the candy will fuse itself together when you bake it.
Place into oven and bake for 5 minutes. Take out of oven to cool.
Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top of hot candy. Allow the chocolate to sit for about 5 minutes until it soaks up the heat of the candy, then spread the melted chocolate over the top of the toffee bark.
If adding sea salt, sprinkle along the top of the melted chocolate.
Allow the candy to set up and then break into chunks. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
