Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Dissolve yeast in warm water.

Add egg, sugar, salt and melted butter. Stir in flour.
cover bowl with kitchen towel and set aside and let raise until doubled in size.(about 2 hours)

Using two 9 inch glass pie plates, either use vegetable oil spray or vegetable oil to grease pans. Pour dough out onto floured board or counter. Work enough of the flour into the dough so you can pinch off pieces, and make into rolls.

Usually I cover my hands with vegetable oil, and usually have a small amount in the pie plates where I can roll the dough so the top is oiled.

Set rolls aside, cover with paper towels and out of any drafts, again raise until doubled in size, approx. 1 to 2 hours.

Bake in oven until golden brown...about 15 minutes.
