Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. (12 oz) bulk pork sausage
  • 1 bag (28 oz) frozen O'Brien potatoes with peppers and onions, thawed, drained
  • 1 can (4/5 oz) chopped green chiles, drained
  • 2 cups Jalapeno Jack cheese (8 oz)
  • 1/2 cup Bisquick mix
  • 12 tea. salt
  • 1 /1/4 cup milk
  • 1 8 oz. container sour cream
  • 8 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup tortilla chips, crushed (1/2 cup)

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In 10" skillet, cook sausage over medium0high 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thoroughly cooked;' drain.

In ungreased 9x13 glass baking dish, mix sausage, uncooked potatoes, chiles and 1 cup of the cheese.

IN a large bowl, beat Bisquick, salt, ,ilk, sour cream and eggs with wire whisk or fork until blended. Pour over potato mixture.

Bake uncovered 35-45 minute or until knife comes out clean. Sprinkle with crushed chips and remaining 1 cup cheese. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
