Ingredients
- 1/2 cup long grain rice
- 4 cups whole milk
- 3 tsp sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup raisins

Step 1
In a heavy saucepan,add milk,rice,sugar and salt. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Partially cover,leaving space for steam to escape and cook for one hour. Uncover. Increase heat to medium-low and continue cooking,stirring regularly,until pudding thickens-about 20 minutes. Stir in raisins and vanilla. Chill in fridge. Using milk of 2% MF or less is not recommended
