Ingredients
- 3/4 c all-purpose flour
- 3/4 c whole wheat flour
- 3/4 c splenda or other sweetener
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 c unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 2/3 c 1% milk
- 3 sm apples (peeled, cored, and chopped)

Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Mix all purpose flour, whole wheat flour, splenda, salt, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl.
In a separate small bowl, mix together applesauce, egg and milk.
Pour applesauce mixture into flour mixture and stir until just blended (don't over stir); fold in apples
Spoon mixture into muffin pan
Bake 25 minutes
Makes 12-14 muffins
