Ingredients

  • Crumb Topping:
  • 2.1 /4 Biscuit Mix
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 C Sour Cream
  • 2 teas Grated Lemon Peel
  • 1 Apple, cored & Thinly Sliced
  • 1/3 C Biscuit Mix
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 teas Cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Bake 400° Preheat oven
Make Crumb Topping; set aside.
Combine all ingredients in a small
bowl. Cut with knife or fork until
crumbly.

Mix biscuit mix and sugar in a large
bowl. In a small bowl, beat the egg
with a fork. Blend in the sour cream
and lemon peel; add all at once to
biscuit mix batter. Stir lightly, just
until moist. Spoon into greased
pan. Arrange apple slices over batter.
Sprinkle crumb mixture on top.
Bake 20-25 minutes or until
center springs back when pressed
lightly with fingertip.
Cool in pan on wire rack.
Cut into squares, serve warm.
