Ingredients
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 14 ounces light caramels
- 1 small can evaporated milk (1/2 cup)
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 6 ounces chocolate chips

Preparation
Step 1
Melt caramels with 1/3 cup milk. Mix rest of milk, butter and cake mix in a bowl.
Spread half of mix in greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 minutes.
Drop nuts and chocolate chips over baked mixture.
Spoon caramel mixture over that and cover with remaining cake mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
