left out the brown sugar and they were great! easy
Easy and quick recipe. Made during the holidays for a gathering. Everyone loved them. Will definitely make again.
what is a jelly-roll pan?
Made these for a large group. I saw others say that these were too sweet., and I beg to differ. They were really too rich. Way too much butter. There was no crunch, just grease spots and I made the recipe as instructed. Although I have never seen the movie, my husband say they had more butter in them than the Last Tango in Paris. I would cut the butter in half next time
I love these.
I made these last night, and used my co-workers as testers. They received rave reviews. I thought they were a little sweet and would cut the brown sugar to 1/2 Cup next time, but all in all....could not be simplier to prepare, and were delicious.
Nix the brown sugar in the batter and use a 1/4 cup with the chips and nuts as a streusel top that way the bar itself doesn't make your teeth ache! I make this for family gatherings in a large 13 x 9 pan and its gone.....have whip cream handy for a really decident finish♥
I made these cookies yesterday and they were very good, they were very sweet also. The recipe called for12 oz. butterscotch morsels and my bag was 11oz. I can't imagin how much more sweeter they could be. They were very easy and good to the taste for some in my house and the neighbors house. Just too sweet.
These were wonderful. I took some of the other suggestions and used mini choc. chips and toffee chips instead of the pecans. Excellent. I will definetly be making these again!
So quick and easy to make, family loved them. The store was out of the French Vanilla cake mix, so I used the Butter recipe cake mix, tasted great.
The fact that this recipe makes a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan is a huge plus. That's plenty to eat and share! This one is a keeper.
Very good! Made for a school function and had to stop myself from eating them.
Highly recommend.
Just one word for these little darlin's. YUM!!
I made these for the first time this past Thanksgiving and they are delicious! They will definitely become a favorite for the holidays! I added just a few chocolate chips too for an additional flavor to each bar!
Easy and Delicious. Don't have to say anything else. Oh, they travel very well !!! our troops love them!!
