Ingredients

  • 2 2 2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 1 packet 1 (1-oz) packet onion soup mix
  • 2 2 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1 1 lb fresh button mushrooms, thinly sliced
  • 2 2 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 1 1 Tbsp A-1 Steak Sauce
  • hot mashed potatoes, for serving

Preparation

Step 1

Use a 6-quart slow cooker, sprayed with cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine the beef, onion soup mix and garlic powder.

Form into 4 to 6 large hamburger patties and place them in the insert (it's okay to overlap a bit).

In a separate large bowl, combine the mushrooms, broth and steak sauce. Pour the mushroom mixture evenly over the top of the meat patties in the insert.

Cover, and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours (or on high for 3 to 4 hours). Serve with mashed potatoes.
