Ingredients

• Frosting:
• 2 squares unsweetened chocolate
• 1/2 c. butter
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. chopped nuts
• 1/4 c. flour
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1/3 c. butter
• 1/3 c. unsweetened cocoa
• 1 &1/2 tsp. instant coffee
• 2 c. powdered sugar
• 1 &1/2 tsp. vanilla
• 2 Tbs. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt chocolate & butter over low heat in heavy saucepan. Remove from heat & stir in sugar. Beat in eggs & vanilla. Quickly stir in nuts, flour & salt. Spread in well-greased 8 X 8 in. pan. Bake 40-45 min. Cool completely before frosting.
