Magic Cake
By Hklbrries
Watch this cake appear as magically as it disappears. With just one box of Domino Confectioners' sugar it's a hop, skip and a jump to making a delicious cake and frosting all from one simple recipe.
This was shown in a photo with a nest or bed of green "grass" on top with "birds egg" nestled in it (tinted shredded coconut with Easter eggs, I think).

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Frosting: Grease an 8-by-8-inch square baking pan. In large mixing bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth. Add confectioners' sugar alternately with milk, beating 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended. Remove 1 cup of frosting from bowl and set aside.
Cake: With mixer at slow speed, add eggs to remaining frosting mixture in mixing bowl. Add vanilla extract. Beat until blended. In small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add flour mixture to mixing bowl alternately with water and continue beating 1 to 2 minutes or until well blended. Pour into pan and bake 35 to 45 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes; remove from pan. Cool completely. Place cake on serving plate. Spread sides and top of cake with remaining frosting.
