Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 - 2 lbs of ground beef, browned
  • 2 10oz cans plain tomato sauce
  • 1 small can fire roasted diced tomatoes (do not strain)
  • 1/2 large onion diced
  • 1 red pepper diced
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp basil
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2-3 dashes hot sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and cook for 8 hrs on LOW. Turn to HIGH. Add 1 packet of sweetener (I used splenda) . Stir until combined and let cook 5 more minutes

This serves 6-8 people
