Ingredients

  • Streusel topping:
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 3/4 stick butter(or margarine), softened
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • some salt
  • 6 cups thinly sliced apples
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 stick butter (or margarine)
  • cinnamon to flavor

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients together into a soft large ball. Spread into spring form pan. Prick with fork. Put apples on top of pastry.

Streusel Topping:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl by hand into clumps of streusel and put on top. Bake 1 hour to 1 1/4 hour at 350F till done.
