Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients.

Make a depression in the center.

Combine oil,orange juice, vanilla and eggs.

Pour into the well and gradually mix together until a dough forms. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Divide dough into four parts

Roll each piece into a 6 x14 inch rectangle
Spread with soft butter, raspberry jam. Sprinkle with raisins and chopped walnuts

Beginning at the long end, roll up jelly roll style.

Brush with water and sprinkle with sugar.

Slice in 2-3 inch pieces. Place on parchment paper on a cookie sheet.


Bake on 350° for 25 minutes.
