Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 tsp Soda
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 3 Cups Flour
- 1 cup each, pecan halves, & whole filberts
- 1 cup quartered Walnuts
- 2 lbs. Dates (cut up)
- 1 1/2 cups raisins
- 1/2 tub cut up candied fruit
- 1 cup Fruit juice or Rum or Brandy

Step 1
Mix fruit and nuts in a large bowl, pour 1 cup of liquid, (fruit juice, rum or brandy) over the mixture and let set over night.
Cream butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla. Add dry ingredients and hand mix into fruit nut mixture.
Bake 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
