Ingredients

  • 8 slices Italian bread, 1/2 inch thick
  • 2 Tbs butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/2 pound thinly sliced cooked deli chicken or turkey
  • 4 Tbs basil pesto
  • 4 slices (1 oz each) mozzarella cheese
  • Spaghetti sauce, warmed, if desired

Preparation

Step 1

Spread one side of each bread slice with butter. Place 4 bread slices with butter sides down; top with chicken, pesto and cheese. Top with remaining brtead slices, butter side up.

Cover and cook sandwiches in panini maker 4-5 minutes until bread is crisp and cheese is melted. Serve with spaghetti sauce
