Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 1 C milk
- 1 1/4 C fine dry bread crumbs
- 2 large eggs, fork-beaten
- 1 1/4 C chopped onions
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/8 tsp ground allspice
- 1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
- 1/2 lb lean ground pork
- 1/4 C all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tp salt
- 10 oz condensed beef consomme
- 1 C water

Preparation
Step 1
Mix first 7 ingredients in bowl. Stir well.
Add ground beef and ground pork. Shape into 1 1/2" balls. Arrange on broiler tray. Brownn quickly under broiler, turning once. Pile balls into 5 L slow coooker.
Sauce: Measure flour and salt in saucepan. Whisk in consomme and water gradually until no umps remain. Heat until it boils and thickens a bit. Pour over meatballs. Cover. Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
