Ingredients

  • Sauce:
  • 1-4 pound brisket
  • 1 medium onion, peeled and thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup chhili sauce
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Tbs flour
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1-12 oz bottle beer

Preparation

Step 1

Trim the fat from the brisket. Season with salt and pepper. Place the meat in a baking pan, cover with onion slices. Combine the sauce ingredients and pour over the meat. Cover the brisket with foil. Bake in a pre-heated 350 oven for 5-6 hours. Uncover during the last 30 minutes and baste with juices.
