Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 2/3 cup Crisco shortening
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 5 eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring ( I omit)
- 3 1/2 oz. canned flaked coconut
- 1 cup milk

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven 350. Grease and flour a bundt or angel food pan.
Cream together sugar, butter, Crisco, and salt. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine flour and baking powder. Add vanilla and coconut flavoring to 1 cup of milk. Add small amount of milk to creamed mixture than small amount of flour mixture, alternate ending with milk. Add coconut. Bake 350 for 1-1hour 10 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
