Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground pork
  • 1/2 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup carrots, minced
  • 1/2 cup green onion
  • 1 tbsp. ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 egg, for sealing
  • lumpia wrappers
  • salt and papper

Step 1

Mince onions and scallions finely. Mince ginger and carrots too.

In a bowl, place ground pork. Add onions, scallions, carrots, garlic and ginger. Add salt and pepper and mix.

Heat skillet with oil. Beat egg in a shallow dish into an egg wash.

Place ground pork mixture on the lumpia wrapper. Moisten the wrapper edges with egg wash. Fold into a tube. When the skillet is hot, place several pieces of lumpia in pan and fry about 3 minutes on each side.

Let cool.
