Ingredients
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 package Dromedary dates
- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Small bowl of XXX (superfine confectioner's) sugar

Preparation
Step 1
In large frying pan, melt butter.
Add dates, sugar, and eggs. Stir constantly for about 5 minutes, until the dates begin to soften and become musky.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
Combine cereal and nuts in a large mixing bowl. Add date mixture and mix thoroughly.
Remove jewelry and rings and butter your hands. Roll the mixture into teaspoon size balls. Add more butter to your hands if mixture starts to stick.
Roll the date balls in the xxx sugar and place on waxed paper to cool.
Store in airtight container.
