Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cups (1 1/2 sticks) butter or margarine
  • 12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme
  • 1/2 pecan pieces
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

Combine sugar, milk, and butter or margarine in a large, heavy saucepan; heat to boiling. Stir constantly about 5 minutes over medium heat or until mixture reaches soft ball stage (238 degrees); remove from heat.

Add remaining ingredients; stir vigorously until well blended. Pout into greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Cool; cut into squares.
