Ingredients
- 2 lb ground beef, chili meat or cube chuck
- 1/2 cup chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons paprike
- 1 tablespoon diced onions
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 8oz can tomato sauce
- 2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons flour or masa

Preparation
Step 1
brown meat in large pot
drain off grease
stir in chili powder, garlic powder, ground cumin,oregano, paprike, and diced onions
add salt and cayenne as desired
add tomatoes sauce and water
stir well
bring to a boil, then reduce, cover and simmer for 30 minutes
for a thicker chili, mix 1/4 cup and 4 tablespoons flour or masa
together to make a paste
add to chili, mix well and continue to simmer for an additional 15 minutes
beans can also be added if desired
