  • 5 gallon bucket
  • 4 cups warm water
  • 2 bar fels nappa
  • 2 cup arm & hammer
  • 1/2 cup borax
  • a squirt of liquid dawn
  • EO: orange and lavender

Preparation

Step 1

Shred fels nappa bar in cooking pan with 4 cups warm water. Melt shredded bar completely (cook on low/med heat). In 5 gallon bucket fill halfway with hot water then pour in the melted bar liquid. Add arm & hammer and borax to mixture and mix together. Fill bucket to the top with hot water. Cover over night. Then it's ready! The 5 gallon bucket should last a long time depending on loads of laundry per week.

To Use:
Fill detergent container (save your last laundry container that you bought at the store) 1/2 full with detergent mix and the rest of the way with water and (if desired) liquid dawn and essential oil of choice. Add to laundry as usual.
